Sydney Story Factory
This project was a collaboration with Sydney Story Factory and ABC Splash. This resource is designed for primary school students, guiding young writers to write poetry, build their own stories, use tricks to create exciting characters, plots, settings, genres and language. The task was to work with scripts to develop a series of videos for an online digital book (digibook).
I worked with the team to analyse and mark up their six shooting scripts and develop a suitable camera approach for the location, within project scope and schedule. A two-camera approach was used, with unconventional and witty approaches to framing, editing points etc.
The final videos are part of the online resource How to Build Stories and What’s with Poetry?
100 years of The School Magazine
Celebrating the centenary of the publication, this project was a collaboration with NSW Department of Education, The School Magazine, Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney and ABC Splash.
